BINKOM: Targeting Chronic Joint Diseases Through Innovative Connective Tissue Therapy : , Theme: GO-BIO initial

BINKOM develops a systemic treatment that delivers active ingredients directly to joint connective tissue, aiming to
restore joint balance and relieve pain without repeated injections.

Chronic joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis cause considerable movement restrictions and pain. Treatment options for these two diseases in particular are limited.

The aim of the BINKOM project is to combat the causes of these diseases and restore the balance of the joints. The approach concentrates on the local connective tissue and its cells. These play a crucial role in the development and persistence of disease.

The innovative approach aims to achieve long-term accumulation of active ingredients in the joint connective tissue after systemic administration. This allows repeated treatment as opposed to direct injections into diseased joints.

A New Horizon in Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis Treatment:
Long-Lasting, Systemic, and Effective

In the conceptual period, patent rights are expanded, and competition, market, and technology analyses are carried out. A target product profile and development plan are drawn up.

The team aims to build on this by transitioning to the GO-Bio initial feasibility stage and planning to found a start-up.
